كما وعدتكم فإن اليوم موعدنا مع الجزء الثاني من مجموعة صور فيضان باكستان المدمر، و الذي شاهدنا الجزء الأول (http://www.braineye.net/be/?p=1965) منه على صفحات هذه المدونة و لكن و قبل أن نشاهد الجزء الثاني سأقوم بطرح بعض الأرقام و الحقائق المهمة عن هذا الفيضان و الذي يعد أسوأ كارثة في تاريخ باكستان منذ 80 عام، إليكم الحقائق و الأرقام:
ليس هنالك إحصائيات دقيقة حتى الآن لعدد القتلى جراء هذا الفيضان و لكن العدد يصل إلى حوالي 3000 قتيل.
عدد المتضررين من الفيضان بشكل عام بلغ حوالي 20,000,000 أي ما يقرب من عدد سكان المملكة العربية السعودية كلها !
الفيضان دمّر حوالي 650 ألف منزل في طريقه.
أتلف هذا الفيضان مساحة تقدر بحوالي 557 ألف هكتار من الأراضي الزراعية (الهكتار الواحد = 2,471 فدان).
تقدر الأمم المتحدة الخسائر بحوالي 7.1 مليار دولار.
عطّل الفيضان حياة ما يقرب من 12% من سكان باكستان البالغ عددهم 170,000,000.
