خسر منتخب البحرين أمام كوريا الجنوبية 1-2 يوم الاثنين على ستاد نادي الغرافة
ضمن منافسات المجموعة الثالثة في نهائيات كأس آسيا 2011 التي تقام في قطر.
ونجح كوو جا-تشيول في تسجيل هدفي المنتخب الكوري الجنوبي وذلك في الدقيقتين 40 و52،
في حين أحرز فوزي عايش (83 من ضربة جزاء) هدف البحرين.
وحصل اللاعب الكوري الجنوبي مسجل الهدفين على جائزة عبدالله الدبل لأفضل لاعب في المباراة.
وكانت المباراة الثانية ضمن ذات المجموعة يوم الاثنين أيضاً انتهت بفوز أستراليا على الهند 4-0 على ستاد نادي السد.
وتصدرت أستراليا ترتيب المجموعة برصيد 3 نقاط من مباراة واحدة وبفارق الأهداف أمام كوريا الجنوبية،
في حين بقي رصيد البحرين والهند خالياً من النقاط.
وتشهد الجولة الثانية من منافسات المجموعة يوم الجمعة المقبل لقاء البحرين مع الهند على ستاد نادي السد،
وأستراليا مع كوريا الجنوبية على ستاد نادي الغرافة.
